Riff the Bear by Abe Lincoln Jr. and Brent Burkett for Abe’s Peanut

I reached out to the postcard zine, Abe’s Penny and submitted my work. I loved the concept of their series. They send out weekly postcards that tell a complete story over the course of a month. They asked me if I wanted to do a piece for their Kids imprint, Abe’s Peanut and if there was anyone I wanted to work with. So I hit up Brent Burkett, awesome writer, blogger and fellow Rainbow fanatic, and we got to work. Riff the Bear is a simple tale told in rhyming style and I was able to use my hand drawn illustrations to bring a kid friendly and fun vibe to the story.
